This public access is located next to
Elizabeth Pointe Lodge, on South Fletcher, just a few hundred yards south of Main Beach and Atlantic Avenue. The access has parking for
six or seven cars, and it's a short walk to the water.
(map).
Even though the beach appears featureless here at low tide, this area can be productive at times. I've caught blues,
whiting, and trout here and have seen a few large black drum caught in this area in the spring.
Since it's close to Main Beach, the beach here can be crowded during the summer months, but you won't have a problem
finding a spot to fish as very few fisherman seem to visit this area of the beach.
